Atelier Ruby Helmets

I've always wanted one a Ruby Castle and now that I'm seriously kicking tires, I can't figure out if the company went out of business or if they didn't or where to buy from.

I can't figure out which of the below sites is the actual Atelier Ruby. Are they both? Anyone have experience purchasing from either of the below? I don't want to purchase a knock off.

Any other advice from you Ruby owners? Fit? Care? Buying process?

The company went broke some time ago. There was a new owner, but who ?
Since it was a French company, I suppose the new owner is French also. The first site you mention is the original one. I suppose it's the one you should order at.
The second site is Chinees. I'm sorry, but Chinees and quality are two words I can't use in the same sentence. Once again, it's only my point of view.

So the first site (in my original post) is the actual Atelier Ruby company? The second site is a knock off Chinese company?

Is the Ruby helmet the same as what Keira Knightley wears in the Ducati Chanel ad?

From my understanding they were bought by an Asian company sometime ago. The new castels you see are part of the new line. Hefty tag to pay for something that is not true to its original craftsmanship before the sale of ruby

That makes sense. However, not sure why the original website is still up?

No idea matey. It's coincidental but my mate bought one a week ago from eBay. It was shipped new from china. He bought it really cheap too.

I read that all chinese ones are fakes

they made them and then stole the design and started to sell
on their own- these should not be bought off of eBay
