Talking Hello from Tampa... New to BMW

Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum today. I got my Nine T about 3 weeks ago and I've been on it every single day since; can't get off it.
This is my first BMW motorcycle. My other bikes: 2006 Ducati Monster 620 Dark, '76 Suzuki GT380, '16 Ducati Scrambler Urban Enduro (currently for sale), and my '16 R Nine T.

I've been riding since 2011 although my first 4 years were in NJ where I could only ride a few months a year. Moved to FL in 2015 and I have riding a lot more and getting much better at it.

I rode a demo R Nine T a few months back and it was like a dream, 3 weeks ago I went to the local dealer for an event and I saw they had the '16 model discounted and I had to jump on it right away. I love the Scrambler but I felt I needed something with more power.

I'm not the most mechanical savvy person so I'll be asking lots of questions and reading lots of posts..... wish me luck!

I'm predicting that more will follow.

Welcome to the forum!

I lived in New Jersey (Fort Monmouth) for a year. I too was happy when I could move south.

Welcome!
I occasionally work in Tampa (West Chase, Temple Terrace) and will be bringing the bike down on the next stint. Will try hooking up with you and other Tampa guys for a ride.
