Was an emergency purchase last year... I had for many years various models of the 1200GS. Then in 2015 I decided to try something new and switched to the R1200R. A great bike, but not for travelling on bad roads. Since we planned a trip to Romania I had to find a solution. The 1150GS named Karl was a real bargain, it only had 20'000km on the clock and looked as new. Finally it became my all time favorite travel bike, very comfy and smooth riding.
