I noticed this on my my road trip back from the dealer yesterday morning. It looked like the intake fairing was dislodged off of it. It didn't really feel "loose" per se, no looser than any other motorcycle fairing...maybe that's the way it's suppose to fit? The stock photos show the intake perfectly in the center. The top of the intake tube looks a little scratched. Maybe the tie downs from the shipping crate were rubbing against the tube?

Yep that's defiantly wrong and not fit for use, I would take it back and ask for a full refund pronto :D

the snorkel looks a little high. although the circumference of the intake on mine does not exactly align with the intake cowl, it is a much closer alignment in your bike.

did you grab it and give it a wiggle?

I did. It's bolted on their all right. There's not a lot of wiggle. I'm going to ride it down to the local dealer here to take a look at it. By the time I bring it in for the break-in service, the should have a solution.
