Ateliers Ruby is offering a special edition line of helmets to celebrate 90 years of BMW Motorrad. The collection contains all three helmet styles: Castel, Pavillon and Belvedere. The Castel is a full-face lid, the Pavillon is a three-quarter helmet, and the Belvedere has a face shield on the open-face design.

The helmets all have a 60s or 70 retro feel to them. All the helmets also are hand numbered to keep with the special edition nature of the collection.

It isn't cheap to look this good though. The Pavillon goes for $964, the Belvedere for $1,171, and the Castel for $1,489. Each one comes with carbon fiber shells, nappa leather interior, and Ruby protective boxes.

Really expensive, but exclusivity has a price. They are very light (always in carbon).
I have one problem: they are very large, and that's not so attractive when you already need a XL-size

I can understand the complaints on price but how can you deny the good looks of these helmets? I like the retro but modern look of these helmets and they are supposed to be really light. If you can afford it, i say you should get it. Perfect mix of style and substance IMO.

Oh I have no concerns or complaints about the looks. they are great looking helmets and I am sure the quality and construction is up to par if not over for this type of helmet.
