Bad news... the nineT in the transportation box is NOT mine....

good news... my nineT will arrive this week

Bad news #2, even worse than #1: Dealer said today that BMW prohibits any delivery to customers before 15th of March !!!

Has anyone else heard something like this ????

Arghhh ....

That fits with what I was told last week i.e. delivery Mid March with dealer demo at the end of February.

Then yesterday I was told delivery late March early April and that's the first shipment to be released in Australia. Also told no opportunity to try a demo beforehand which seems crazy.

One would think - try it, if you don't like it we'll bump the next in line up the queue?

I don't know anymore. They're messing with my head ....

Fingers crossed and hoping!!:D It would make sense though, to keep the hype around the launch together. They certainly have us all on tender hooks don't They!

This seems to coincide with what we all heard a while ago. Official release date on 3/15. Many of you guys have ok weather, where you can ride right away. I'm not in that camp unfortunately, and am working on my garage, so I don't mind waiting. More importantly, I just want to sit on it, and see if it FITS!!

they're holding it till the 15th world wide, so fans in remote far-flung places don't have to resort to wine/beer/anti-depressants should they see someone else already enjoying the bike .... I think that's great! BMW's soooooo considerate :)
