Well after the launch of the 9T in October of last year and dealers having no info to offer in the early days of release ,it seems to have followed onto BMW motorrad insurance UK six months later
I phoned to get a renewal quote today for my 9T to be told after giving all my details that the 9T wasn't on their database of bikes ,so a quote couldn't be generated
After this discerning conversation with so called insurance operative my new business has gone elsewhere and funnily enough it has now been placed with Ducati insurance at a very reasonable rate for my new steed

same story here, upon signing the contract 4 months ago, I was told BMW offers VERY good insurance service for VERY reasonable premiums. Ok, I said, let me have the quote so I can compare ...... well, 2 weeks till delivery and they still can't tell me! I guess they want me to forget about it, suddenly realize on pick-up day and be forced to accept them dropping their premiums on me like a ton o bricks ... at least my current insurer QBE will give me a cover note which is good for near 30 days .... QBE's been good to us

Having said that, There a still a few competitive insurers out there, that We havn't pursued for a quote, and most likely will. But with a number of other policies already with QBE, the price was very reasonable.
