12.9% growth is a pretty good number for BMW Motorrad to pull in for January 2014 over January 2013. 5,438 vehicles were sold this year in January compared to 4,818 being sold in the first month of 2013.

Looks like whatever BMW Motorrad is doing is working well for them. Are you one of the January sales that factors into this number?

Biggest growth in the US apparently:D
The big growth comes from new riders finally realising BMW is the brand to have between their legs :D ,an the release of the new models rollout for 2014 ,also people trading up for the newest bike technology that's on offer within the new range ;) except the 9T of course which shines through without electric trickery:D

I happened into my local Yamaha/KTM dealership this last saturday, to firm up my TW200 Purchase. I checked out the KTM 690 Duke. Very cool bike. Perhaps BMW should fill in a space, and come up with a version of their single thumper, in a naked road bike version. Maybe a baby NineT. Apparently, the 690 duke is becoming a hot item, with pretty cool technology.

Thats really the only area I think they are lacking in at present, as they have the enduro and touring sectors covered.(as well as the NineT)
