Sweet looking bike. Got to love how wide the rear wheel setup is with the meaty tire. There's no doubt the Nine T will turn a lot of heads.
That is actually the R90S Roland Sands concept. I was following it for time. they picked the right guys at RS to work with. Surprisingly we all think that the bmw guys are in white lab coats and clean cut but they are actually garage rats like any other bike fanatic. Such a beautiful piece of machinery.
This was the first known sketch they work with at BMW headquarters.

From sketch to reality, the real life version is stunning. They did a good job on the wheels on the real life version, especially in the rear! much better than in the sketch
can't wait for more photos to release.

what about those spy shots? were those just test mules?

Yeah it was just a test mule but for all we know it could be very close to the real thing. There was just very little info surrounding the spied bike. Hopefully more info will come to light in the coming months
that was a special/limited edition and concept for the R90s. Whatever is coming for the nine t might be along the same lines. For the engine and mechanicals they will be the same but the exterior will turn out different.

Yeah so far the spy shots show an exterior that looks really modern, maybe a bit too modern for what it's supposed to be?
We'll just have to wait and see what it turns out to be tomorrow at the unveiling.
A photo I received today.

I have no complaints with the way the R NineT turned out. With nothing to hide and truely naked and modern technology incorporated it just doesn't get any better than that.
What I am somewhat disappointed about is the fact that the swing arm has a different color than the tank, the front fender or the engine.... seems to me there are 3 to 4 different blacks....

and I didn't even consider the color of the headlight, the rims, the plastic trim, the frame, etc
amazing, but i still think the wheels on the concept would look killer on the production models, these wheels are just a bit too classic for me.
Some pics

Just added some close ups from EICMA for you guys in the photo album
