I can't remember a bike or car launch ever that had as much support accessory wise from launch. Not only that but BMW let aftermarket companies like akrapovic do dev work while the NineT was still running around as a mule... seriously brilliant way to cater to your target market, well done BMW.

You can't leave out the carbon fiber pieces. Nice of them to have as an accessory to pick up later. I bet there is more accessories to add on the list.

Just my 2 cents, but CF looks out of place on this style bike, but I'll probably go for the front cover for the cases to protect from gravel spray. I'd like to see an "aluminmum look" fender.

Wouldn't the tank bag get in the way while you are trying to ride? I would far rather put the rear bag on the bike. The carbon fiber engine cover looks pretty cool too. This bike would take well to carbon fiber accessories.

I like the version with just the single place seat, no cowl. It would need a rear hugger, side mount plate, single remus carbon can and if the tank is really aluminum, strip the paint, polish it, some pinstripes, bar end mirrors and good to go.

According to BMW the bike has been designed to be very easy to modify, and as such even the subframe can be removed, leaving just the rider's seat.

Bobtail look sets the NineT off very nicely While obviously BMW can't promote this kind of activity as it would require, amongst other things, illegally fitting rear lights, it certainly isn't discouraging it and instead is giving riders very unsubtle winks about what can be done. Obviously it is also selling a huge array of aftermarket items as well such as exhausts, footpegs and the rest.

Modifications of the nineT that are not proved by BMW Motorrad are not covered by warranty. The product liability covers the production motorcycle only, including official BMW accessory. Technical manipulations that refer homologation rules have to match the local laws. When indicated the permission can be regained for that single motorcycle.

Yes, we can do a lot of things, as long as BMW approves and deliver the stuff.

I am glad that BMW has created a tank bag and a tail bag for this bike because it is always necessary to carry something. However, I think either or both really affect the styling of the bike in a very negative fashion. It has such a minimalistic design but these devices created to carry things are a necessary evil, I suppose. I imagine I will own at least the tank bag and perhaps a tail bag. I hope that someone will create a nice looking smaller tank bag... Only time will tell

I've had several bikes with BMW luggage's, always a risk to drive between cars without damaging them.
This bag is fantastic (from BMW), thanks to the several little compartments that are always accessible.
Of course, it's not closed with a key and you can't take a passenger.

I think the bag of the nine T is the same, but with another texture and color.
