Heh, it's nice looking, just not sure why but the dual exhaust just gets to me.. I like it..

The dual looks like the concept and since the bike weighs about 500lb, I can't see the benefit of saving 5lbs and having to remap the EFI.

I'll go with the single low, though if there was no option ( as if!), I'd have been happy with what I presume is the standard, dual, set up.

For me it would have to be a single. The twins would be a bit much for the eye and take away from the sound I think.

Should I even conisder any of the "Factory options" going to wait it out for the aftermarket exhaust. The other Akrapovic pipe haven't been spotted yet. Can't wait to hear that one.

Louder is nice, but also quality of sound is important, i rather have a better sounding exhaust that isn't as loud. Even without hearing these two, my money is on the Akrapovic

good choice, single is best, not surprised to see so many people voting in favor of the single over the dual.

agreed. I'm not talking harley-like (no disrespect). Quality of sound probably is higher in the ranking but at some point, motorbike sound needs some good volume, in addition. I haven't ever heard a truly growly BMW....not that they don't exist, just never heard one myself.

I'll bet that akra will do the trick...here's hoping..

Same here a nice set of headers will help with fine tuning the tone as well.

I am a bigger fan of the single. I just think that it is a cleaner look. I generally think less is more. You have to have an editing eye. Once you start adding and changing things it can get to be too much, so its best to always have that in your head when deciding what to do.

this is exactly how i think and see things, it's why im set on the higher mounted single. just when i thought the lower mounted single was really nice and clean, a photo of the higher mounted single came along and crushed my lower mounted dreams LOl
