BMW/RSD Concept Ninety R90S 2013

It's a fantastic bike, but what did they do with the oil cooler ?
The engine cover is beautiful, but with an oil cooler in front it's less sexy.

A beautiful piece of machinery, RSD did a great job capturing the old school look with the modern tech. If I could only see it up in person.

What is your take on how the production model R NineT turned out compared to the this concept 90. Are you still interested?

really there isn't much similar between the concept nine T and the nine T. The only thing that I really see that is the same are the front forks. Not much else is the same at all. I like the production model, but I would have been happy to see a bit more commonality.

sadly it had to be like that.
they should have kept the overall design very similar to the concept

If they had kept the look close to the concept, there wouldn't be a plethora of accessory parts to sell, and would be more difficult to mod it into a bobber or modded roadster. The concept is a great bike to copy, and I'm sure tail tidies and small fairings will be available after its release... tomp dd50

Apparently BMW can make a bike that looks like the nineT concept. They already made it 40 years ago! Why could they make the nineT have some more of those design cues?

Here's BMW's intro video. More retro roadster/rat than cafe. I do like the picture. Saw it somewhere else, too...

Got to thank BMW for creating such an epic video, more bike makers need to do this with their bikes, it might help get the hype they really want and need.
