I know mate,… but with all kinds of stuff happening, busienss trips away for thre weeks every three weeks and family holidays, it is just not happening, I need to plan something in for next year indeed!!

Yeah,.... air canada used to have that option to take your bike on the flight,... I don't think my employer would foot that bill though!!! It would be great though.

Had to correct a “failing”, the rearfender kit from Unit Garage did not have a white light on the numberplate, so added small LED strip from Wunderlich to correct and be road legal again…

only noticed the other day when I rode in the dark…

I have been contacted by UG this week, and on the basis of my feedback they made a new rear light with white numberplate illumination!

Having shown the pictures, comments on the install:

i watched the PC video before hand, already a few weeks ago. Removed the rear wheel, and with the bike on the centre stand it was rock steady. But a car jack under neath the arm to allow lining up for the top hole once the bolt was ready to go.

tightened everything to 56Nm torque spec. I then installed the mudsling as the wheel was of anyway and that was easy job too, test fitting to see where the holes lined up etc. is much easier without the wheel in there.

put the wheel back on, tightened to 60Nm and everything is good!

And yes, I know I need to ride it!!

Started adding a few more things: heel protector made out of unobtanium: View attachment 155110 and starting on indicator lights on the hand guards: View attachment 155111 will nave to wait a couple of weeks due to business trip to complete….

Is that heel protector mounted properly or goes the other way around following the pipe curve? Do you have more pictures of it?

Installed the plug point for the DIN charger so I can use a newer optimate. Instructions can be found on Wünderlich website. I don’t have very thick fingers but struggled with the rear clamp/bolt which I eventually gave up on and used a tie wrap, there just is not sufficient room to get my fingers in and the clamp and bolt and nut lined up. Maybe if i had lifted the tank partially of it might have helped.

I am so ready to go for a ride, but weather is still so cold… Ill fall of like a frozen popsicle before the end of the road, and before the engine is properly warmed up…
