The BMW Nine T was based on the BMW Concept Ninety., which was a group effort between BMW Motarrad and California custom bike builder Roland Sands. Notice the front cowl and trimmed rear with a short rear seat. The headlamp is retro styled but it houses modern LED lights.

BMW Design Chief Edgar Heinrich said that the "BMW Concept Ninety is sheer enjoyment in every respect, from development of the idea to the sketching stage to the construction process. But above all when you're riding it. It's an absolute riding machine -- just like the R90S was in its time."

I like how they used the original Daytona Orange paint. Its almost like mirror image but of course in a modern form with all the up to date goodies.

Of course BMW had to add the BMW patent LED light up front to spice things up.

I love the rounded windscreen at the front. It is both retro and modern at the same time. I bet that it is super aerodynamic as well. I wish that they would just put the Concept Ninety into production. I bet that unlike concept cars, it isn't completely impossible to put concept bikes into production.

They should offer the rounded windshield as an aftermarket part.
