My dealer services the R1200RT cop bikes. Some LE want spoked instead of cast so they can jump curbs and go up stairs. I've seen at least two with GS-style cross spoke tubeless wheels and I'm pretty sure the front was 17", not 19".

I checked with the parts deparment to see if they could find the cross spoke wheels on the cop bike parts fiche, but they didn't show up. Might be a discontinued option.

Somebody else might look into this if they really want tubeless. I'm not too bothered by tubes. Got em in my '78 Yamaha and all dirt bikes.

Good reason for going with wire wheels, they do take more abuse. Ever got pulled over by one of those R1200's?

Yes. In addition to spoked wheels they also have neat little ticket printers in the left pannier and a laser gun power connection in the right.

For the same price you can buy the Kineo tubeless spoked wheels, much easier to clean.

Can you use the BMW rotor (no carriers) on the Kineos, or do you need to buy rotors for those wheels?
