in Moscow we have a bikes exhibition, in addition to standard 9T on BMW stand, there was a bit customized one. I did liked some of the ideas, like clipoon's or brushed aluminum head, alshow I would anodized them in black. Fork also looks good, adjastable:

I had those mirrors on my Ducati GT1000 and I may get them for the T. Somehow a Trans Am screaming chicken looks out of place on the bike. Do like the brushed aluminum, although I would prefer polished especially if the swing arm and tank were also polished.

BTW based on pics of a bike being uncreated in Mexico (in the ADVrider forum) they also get the European style tail light. So if anyone has contacts south of the border....

Maybe, but the gold paint of the wing tips in the side view go nicely with the gold forks.

Ian, this not a pontiac, this is Phoenix, I delive
though pontiac had a model caled tike this - firebird, but the initial meaning is Phoenix
just google is "Phoenix", what does it means and so on

I always thought the firebird on the trans am was a phoenix. If not im glad i learned something today i do get the symbolism, putting a phoenix on the tank since its an homage to the old boxers and it does match nicely with the gold forks. Just not a big fan of decals/images on bikes but i understand the appeal. Just a personal prefference.

For something similar try these;
Auto parts store - used as trim clips.
Hardware store - used in the end of chair legs to stop scratching the floor.

You need a close fit plug that will push down into the original hole.

Have a read from this post on for a couple of ideas.

No! Bird is cool, matches the forks. Symbolism is cool. Text is nerdy. R 1000 RR forks and clipons just became a must. Actually likes the seat without the strap, cleans the lines up. And Burt is the man! Hehe...
