Is it just me or did the photos get scrambled using Safari Web Browser?

I'm using Safari 9.1, but everything worked OK when using Firefox.

Very nice light, the quality shines out of it (ahem)...... ;)

Aluminium light body I assume?

Same thing happened on my Mac once the page fully loaded (using Safari 9.1, too).

I could see the light, liked it, but my one problem is the big logo. Why? . . . .

We knew we always wanted the logo, I think it looks pretty good. It may look big but in reality the logo is only 1.5" across. The whole light itself is fairly small (aprox. 2 x .75 x .75 inches)

Strange and sorry about that, was working alright for me.

That fix it?

@BaldyDave yup! All machined aluminum, anodize black and laser engraved!

Hey guys! Just got the kit, probably got stuck in customs for a week... Looks great, gonna put it on this weekend..

A question about the 4 spacers for mounting to use with tail seat. I understand wich holes but am I using them over under or in-between? Sorry for a stupid question but couldn´t find any tutorial for this, and I don't want to destroy this beautiful kit by doing something wrong.

Thx guys!

@Jussi glad you figured it out! I have a link in my signature for the tutorial but we really do need to do a better job of showing where that is/having some sort of print that goes along with the unit.

The 2 more square spacers, each with a pair of holes in them: those go in between the base plate (plate that mounts to the frame) and the light strip plate (piece where the tail light is attached) when you run the bike with the rear passenger seat. To install these simply remove the rear cowl/rear seat and remove the 2 Torx bolts on the tail tidy holding the light plate in place. Slip the spacers in and reinstall the bolts. It will bump the tail light vertically about 6mm, eliminating the gap that occurs when installing the rear seat.

Not necessary, but nicer looking in our opinion!

Once again, we really need to edit/re-make the tutorial with updated parts and photos. I believe next week we'll have something that will be 100% clear and up to date.

Thanks!

Sal, the light came in the mail a couple days ago. Nice piece of kit for a light but did you stop etching your logo on these? Mine doesn't have the Daedalus logo on it. Also, I wrote Ian an email on the fitting issues I was having on my 2016 R nineT. Seems the recess for the rear shouldered screws aren't large enough for the dome head.
