Hello Folks,

Welcome to my “Build Thread”, I use that term loosely as unlike my last bike, I’ve not built this one, merely bought it off the shelf and bolted on/off a series’s off modifications but here goes.

Bike is a 2018 Pure Sport which I purchased second hand from the stealer-ship. The bike had one previous owner, was just under two years old and 1300 miles on the odometer with a couple of mods.

Current Modifications
  • Nitron NTR R3 rear shock
  • Nitron NTR front fork cartridges
  • SP Engineering Titanium Exhaust (Can)
  • Michelin Pilot Road 5’s running 36/36
  • Beeline
  • Osram night breaker laser headlight bulb
  • LED stop/sidelight bulb (error free)
  • 6.5x6.5 licence plate
  • Flapper valve delete
  • Charcoal canister delete
  • Passenger subframe delete
  • Billet exhaust hanger
  • Front fork reflector delete
  • Rev Counter / Tacho
  • Puig rear hugger
  • Evotech Tail Tidy
  • Evotech oil cooler guard
  • R&G front fender extender
  • Pier City front crud catcher
  • Machineart cylinder head covers
  • Cafe Hump/Cowl
  • Our Nine T bar end mirrors
  • Wunderlich crash bobbins front/rear
  • Wunderlich 20mm bar risers
  • Wunderlich 20mm foot peg lowering kit
  • SW Motech Legend Gear RHS bag
Awaiting Modifications
  • Hyperpro RSC steering damper (ordered)
  • Tubeless conversion, planned for winter.
  • New levers, I’ve year to read a review that details levers that can position closer than the standard levers, I’m on setting one currently and need them closer.

Great photos of a beautiful bike! Keep up the clean mods.

Thanks for the kind words!
I’m not into “loud” mods, with the exception of the ASBO drone from the exhaust which was more a safety modification than anything, I’m a quietly cool kinda guy :D

Looks terrific! I have several of the same (or very similar) mods on my own Pure, but I think your bike looks sleeker and sexier than mine. (y)

You should enter your Pure Sport in the Bike of the Month Challenge. Details are near the top of the page. :)

Thank you! I toyed with the idea of clipping on to make it even sleeker but my back just couldn’t handle it!

The number plate is a great touch, I assume it is for photo shoot purposes only.
Regards
KillJoy
Thanks KillJoy, the characters are the actual plate, I did drop the black one on purely for the shoot but I run an identical sized pressed yellow one usually.

Nice mods and end result. Did you upgrade both ends to Nitron at the same time as a matter of interest ? I have a Nitron rear and looking to press the button on the front forks kit now so I wondered what your feedback was.
