I do some town riding on my standard R Nine T with Akro end cans. Below 3k rpm I notice the throttling isnt great. I'm assuming its the lean running for emissions regs. Will a remp remove the low rpm hesitation and make it more enjoyable around town. Ive read a remap improves top end but does it remove the poor fuelling at low rpm too? I'm thinking of HillTop remap.
Thanks

I can only speak for the Bren Tune (remap) on my bike. It has transformed low speed running. A Booster Plug I used before that also made a significant improvement but the Bren tune eliminated the problem completely as well as curing the mid range flat spot and gave a noticeable power increase as well. A real transformation. This is on a 2014 R nineT.

I've just had my 2014 remapped at Daytuner, near to Harrogate. That's how he sold it to me, that he would smooth out any low speed glitchiness as well as iron out and improve the overall power and torque curves. Only had a couple of short rides out since, he did it last week but early feedback is very positive so far.

I've got the HillTop map in my '14........the bottom end fuelling is vastly improved (much better fuelling thoughout the whole rev range)......no more stutter off idle or choppiness when trying to feather the throttle at very small openings. The extra free grunt that came with the throttle smoothness improvements were a welcome addition.

Are you looking for more power, or just smoother running?

If it's the later then a BoosterPlug would be the cheapest and easiest answer IMHO.

Many thx!
This device will give me some extra horse power or will just stabilise the idle?

No extra HP, but does seem to smooth the factory lean and off idle issues that the OP notes. I never had horrible issues with my 2015 classic but we do know that a lean condition exists by design. Booster Plug efficacy, especially long term, is a touchy topic wherever it's brought up so i have no intention of dredging any of that up. But, I installed one and it seems to still be working as well as the day it was installed, and I had very reasonable expectations of what all it would or would not do. And, best as I can tell, I have noticed no return to the pre-BP install conditions (however minor those were). I have no hard data to support anything either way but in my mind it's still doing it's thing as planned and I am perfectly happy to carry on blissfully ignorant with it in place. There is no harm.

The booster plug makes no performance increase claims, just makes the throttle a lot less twitchy at low rpm. For the money I think it’s a worth-while addition and never had any regrets for buying mine for that purpose.
