I took some photos of this brand new R nineT as it came off the truck this afternoon.

We were very excited, the build quality on this bike is excellent. It's beautiful in person!

I have attached some pictures, you can view the full album HERE

Rumor is we may be sold out of our allocation on this bike but if you want to put in a deposit, you may just get one!

Feel free to ask me any questions you have on the bike or the dealer side of things.

Cheers,

-Alex

You wouldn't have an European tail light assemblies, would you?

Possible stupid question: Why is the tach reading 1200rpm with the motor off?

Curious...isn't it?

Perhaps the first U.S. warranty repair?;)

Good question!

The battery has not been installed yet and the digital gauge will zero out once it has power, possibly after cycling the key.

We are planning a "first ride" video to shoot soon. I will try to post that up tomorrow.

Sorry Mike, none in stock.

I spoke with my parts manager and he informed me that we cannot even order the euro-spec tail. BMW blocks the shipping to the U.S.

His advice is to wait for an aftermarket taillight, although I expect plenty for this "customize your own" machine!

Hey Alex,

I just checked your website. You got some nice T-Shirts with your dealer logo.

Will you ship to Germany if I buy a shirt thru your web shop?

Can you give me a shipping quote?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship international from our web shop. We had reliability issues in the past.

Good news though, we DO ship internationally through our ebay account since ebay does a much better job securing shipping.

Our EBAY account

Estimated shipping cost should be about $26 USD to Germany.

Thanks and good luck!

are you guys following the dealer embargo on deliveries? member ian received his NineT before the March 15th release date, I just wonder if there are other American dealers also not following the protocol... :D

Alex;

Since I have a deposit on that bike, before you go tearing up the countryside for a video shoot, you may want to clear it with the owner - me. Just say'n. This is one of those cases where it's better to ask permission than forgiveness. v/r, frank

Better idea Mr. Bones, just come over to visit and pick up a couple in person. Tschuss !
Brilliant idea. I might actually consider this. :D
No talk of delayed pick up here. Bike is in and I am welcome to pick it up as soon as it is uncrated and set-up

No worries Frank, I understand!

The service tech who does the un-crate & delivery inspection always puts 10 miles on each new bike per DOT regulations to ensure that it's working properly before it is sold.

I thought it would be a cool idea to video that first ride to see the riding position and everything, we ended up running out of time in the day for it so no video was shot.

I respect that it is your bike and would never do anything questionable with it or on it without your permission.

Congrats on the first one from our dealer!

(and to those asking about the release date, we ARE selling them as soon as they come in. We haven't been told otherwise by BMW)

Tempted to call b.s. Unless that's a Florida DOT thing. Follow your instincts Frank and do what they tell you.
I have paper and keys in hand!!!! And for anyone worried, all is good with Alex - just busting his balls a little - all in good fun...Euro Cycles is top drawer in my book. Really good staff, and all are friendly and outgoing...oh, and the RnineT is better looking in person than in any picture you will see of it.
