Hello!

Im gonna build a full exhaust système in stainless with out cat and exhaust valve do i need a power commander or à booster plug??

You don't but for the bike to run better yes. I would go PCV route as you can build a custom dyno or pull a file from online. This is the route I went with and am very happy

After Installing a PCV with Autotune I can tell you that even with the stock setup, the bike fairly lean. I would imagine putting on a header that would breathe better than stock will make it even worse. I would highly recommend the use of a piggyback fuel modifier and either get it tuned on the dyno or install some sort of Autotune as well. Just my 2 cents worth!

A lot of us are running booster plugs or PCVs with stock exhaust as the fuel/air ratios are set very lean at the factory; you might consider a booster plug regardless and see for your self the difference with more fuel (they are relatively cheap). Adding more air by letting it exhaust easier will only make it run even more lean. Many here seem to do fine with just a booster plug and catless headers, but from what I've read, it looks like a PCV solution is optimal for its ability to fine tune the settings for your particular exhaust setup. This is the way I will go when I do the same.

IMHO the least you should be going for is a Booster Plug. As others have already said a more free-flowing exhaust system will almost certainly make an already lean running engine run even leaner. The Booster Plug should keep you the right side of safe and should make the bike operate OK.

If you can afford it, getting a custom ECU remap and dyno tune would be the way to go I think. Would optimise the engine efficiency and performance to go with your new exhaust system.

I fitted catless akra with power commander V and did dyno tune. Bike is so nicer to ride, and with linear torque I find that I'm not revving so much as I use to do. No autotune installed. 6000km and all good so far, so I would reccommend PCV. I never tried booster plug.

The power commander should do everything you want from a booster plug and more, right?

I’ve got neither and notice, with my catless , valveless Unit Garage headers, the ECU let’s the bike run much richer for about 30 seconds after ignition and then turns it leaner. Annoying.
