Cool. I prefer No 1 as well. Although in person No 2 looks great also.

This should help those considering G/S bits for their scramblers.

Interesting. I never liked fairings or windshield of any type until I spent time with the G/S.

Option 2 looks really nice. I tinkered with all the permutations but in the end I liked Option 1 (stock) the best. It looks more stout and purposeful. More so from the front (I didn't take a pic).

I see what you mean regarding the naked look of Option 2 that provides a classic feel to the eye. After living with it for a while though, my perception shifted and it looks a bit weak (to me) without the screen. Also the increase in wind force on my chest was very noticeable when I removed the screen.

By the way, to remove the screen, it is necessary to remove the fender and loosen the headlight first. So it is not a 1 minute bolt on/off job.

#2 for me. I love that look. I also have a scrambler so I might be biased.

After riding 500 km with a screen though (tombstone) - I took it off and actually prefer the wind on my chest.
