Thank you very much for starting this wonderful forum. I'm a 51 year old pediatrician from the west coast of Florida who has enjoyed motorcycling for 30+ years. Few bikes have caught my interest like the nineT. i cannot wait for mine to arrive in a few months.

as an aside.. i HATE TUBED TIRES.... and BMW better have some "viable" options to "FIX" their poor choice in this matter only.

Welcome @ClearwaterBMW! Assuming by your post that you've already put down a deposit , has your dealer given you a sense of when you'll get your bike?

Lucky you, you get to ride all year round down there!

Down a deposit at my dealer two days after the bike was announced. I was already #2 on the list. I am happy for the buzz the nineT has created. I have been told to expect the bike sometime in early March but some of the higher up folks at BMW insists the bike will be here as early as February. I look forward to knowing more about that.

i agree about the GATORS....

i have no connections..... really
but, i DO hear things
after all.... after buying 11 NEW BMW bikes over the years.... people do tend to tell me things

now, the '14 R1200 GS

the number may be 10 and not 11.... sorry
i DO love my BMW bikes and cannot wait to see the nineT in person

I think it's safe to say that clearwater has everyone beat by owning the most bmw motorcycles. And remember it's not 10 but 11

I really hope my wife doesn't stumble upon this forum because I'm sure she'll spend a moment or two telling you guys what she thinks about all those bikes

Please pass down the wisdom on how you achieved the double digit bike ownership. The nine t will only be my second, but I hope to get it up to at least 5. My wife gives me a funky look every time it comes up.

almost 30 years of marriage
... if you need a LIST of things about which to argue... i have one
motorcycle purchases hasn't even cracked top 5, sadly...
