:confused:Hi you all,
as I'm wearing glasses and my helmet is a system 5 , so far no problems. As long as we spectacleviewers choose a suitable model with straight legs no problem.

I consider buying an open helmet ( the new bmw-9T-line suits me ) but expirience tells me that there's to much turbulence around my eyes and I hate crying;)

Anyone exp with adapted glasses on motorcycle-retro-spec's ??

( lenses are no option, I have contrary eyes like a lot of me realy :D )

Thank you in awaiting your Rx

Like ski masks, there are upper and under vents.
I can't weir them (hurts my nose), but my wife loves them.

Just one thing: an open helmet and gogles might be good for the show, but to drive several hours its absolutely not comfortable. To much wind int the eyes, the wind pushes your helmet up and it's terribly noisy.
Get an open helmet with a screen, like Arai and Shoei have for example. They are still noisy, but you don't have the other problems.

I have been wearing Wiley X prescription sunglasses from here:

Prescription Motorcycle Sunglasses for Men, Women

Lots of good info on this site.

I love these glasses. Wear them with full face helmets. On first wearing them I was amazed that with the wrap around lenses my peripheral vision was in focus, something I haven't experienced since I started wearing glasses many years ago.

I'm not crazy about prescription glasses that wrap around. I have a pair of sports goggles that wrap around and the distortion is hard to take.

The problem is most likely due to me wearing a variable lens.

Just a word of caution. Flat lenses work better for me.

Stone old thread, but I’d like to put out my recommendation for those guys: Flying Eyes Optics - Comfortable Sunglasses for Use Under Headsets and Helmets Fantastic, not only because of the really thin temples that go under the helmet unnoticeably, but they are also available with different strength readers built in, so that oldies like most of us can actually decipher dials, phone, navi or whatever else you need. Just bought my second pair. Made in Texas, too ;-)
