Hi, I've been lurking for a bit, and thought I'd say hello. I've been looking for the right deal on an R nine T for some time, and finally found one that would work for me. I've been riding for 50 years, and owned the following BMWs: 1966 R 50/2, 1972 R75/5, 1974 R90S (which I still own) 1978 R100/7, 1982 R100RT, 1987 K75C, 1992 R100R, 2000 F650GS Dakar, and my current newish bike which the R nine T will replace - a 2003 R1150 R. I think it's safe to say I like these things. My hobby is restoring British bikes, and I currently have a couple of Norton Commandos, a Triumph Trident, and a 58 Velocette Venom. They are all insured and ridden. My neighbors think of me as "the guy with the old bikes". Or a total kook, not sure. Looking forward to the R nine T. Pulled in home on a snowy day in January, and I've managed to squeeze in a few short rides. The second picture is of my 90S that Google "stylized" for me.

Hey Don, that 9T looks good even strapped to a trailer. Welcome to the club and Hello from Texas. I hope your winter ends early this year, you can only stare at that machine for so long before it hypnotizes you to go for a spin. Your going to love her and she’ll treat you to some real thrills with just a twist of the wrist. Have fun, glad your on board, it’s a good group to share all the in’s and out’s of the 9T ..... keep us posted on your new adventure.
