I have a 1200 GS that I am going to sell soon. I had the bike for the past 7 years and did many trips across the country. I am just ready for a change and when I saw the prototype a couple of years ago in Germany I fell in love with the R nine T. Cant wait to get it.

wow 7 years, how many miles/km's have you added to it?
Do you plan on going on some super long rides with the NineT?

I remember seeing the prototype as well. To be honest during that time I really didnt think much of it since it was just a "prototype", this is years back. Finally last summer I came across an article about it again on visordown and this is how I got sucked back in.

Hows the mileage on the 1200GS? Sounds like you got your moneys worth!
