The question is, how close did they stay to this in production?

Yeah it's not close at all. They wouldn't just make them the same either but I still like it for what it is. The only real difference is the front fairiing from the concept 90 to the actual R NineT production.

well it was said from BMW that personalization will be a big part of the ninet and no two bike will be alike. Just waiting to see how the ordering guide will look like for the ninet.

I don't see much the same between the concept and the nineT. The only thing that seems similar is the double exhaust. Maybe it would look more similar if they got rid of the front fairing on the concept. Then the silhouette would be closer.

Because how far off it is from the concept, im very disappointed. But I still like the R NineT, because if I never seen the concept I would think the NineT is amazing.

I agree with you there. Its not that there is anything bad to say about the nineT, its just that it didn't really deliver on what the concept was promising. I'll hold out judgement until the roll out is complete and we see all the options, colors, etc... but, yea...

Look at the 2008 concept bike. This is where the Ninety comes from, not Roland Sands' bike, however nice his rendition is.

I have no problem with how the production R NineT looks, I took it as a treat seeing the concept 90 but reality struck I just knew it wouldn't come out that way.
