4th bike, but first BMW. First was a Royal Enfield in Italy when I was in the Navy. Riding an older Ducati right now, and was looking for something more practical and reliable for the commuting/riding season. I'ver always admired the classic BMW airheads, and really wanted a brand new bike (my first brand new)...and bamm, the R NineT fell from the skies.

Dealer says mine should be in at the end of February!

Congrats Newman. The love affair with the bmw boxer engine is quite unexplainable.
There are many many wonderful motorcycles out there to choose from.
But once bitten by the boxer bug, it's pretty serious.

This is very true, I've had a boxer of one sort or another since 1978, and still have the R100S that I bought new in 1979, with 120k on it.
