Instrument panel issue

Hi! New to this community and hope someone can help. I drive a r nine t from 2014. Still driving awesome. But today my instrument panel just quit and the restarted with a pre drive test while driving. It continued to do that. Did anyone off had the same experience? Hope to hear! Cheers

There's some problems on the 2014 model with the cable loom getting damaged around the steering head; becuase it's too tight. Perhaps some cable got cut (or is about to) and is making contact/no contact?

Nice! Easy problem fixed then. Buy some of those "In line solder things" and solder it. And put heatshrink around it.
Finish it off with some kind of Plastic tube (Like the people did in the forum post linked) to avoid any further wiring getting destroyed in the future.
(You could cut one side of the plastic tube and slide it over for example)
