Hello NSX
Speedo left, tachometer right, info in centre field comprising of fuel /temp ,gear selector, time ,and then you can toggle through your trip options and fuel usage/countdown ,that's about it ;):D
Thank you. That's more than I was expecting. Is that temp ambient, oil? Where is this info located? Since I put money down I've become obsessed.

I believe that is ambient air temp.

From what I read, there may also be a black ice warning that comes on at 3 degrees C
Found this picture of the instrument cluster to give you a better idea of what it will look like.

One of the nicer and simpler instrument clusters around IMO.

Thanks. I agree. That looks great.
any videos of the instruments in action? what color is the backlight?
I could find any videos of the BMW nineT instrument cluster in action. I think that the backlight on the nineT is orange though. This picture shows that:

I love the post modern analog looking instruments, really goes hand in hand with the styling...

Same here, i don't mind a modern instrument cluster, but one thing that's a must is an analog RPM gauge :D
I Like the look of the unit, would have preferred it to be a little less protruding out the front. I have an acewell unit on the R80, perfect little thing, billet alloy, nice and small.
It's the same unit on all the boxers. Cosmetics are specific for each bike, but senders and display computers are the same...which not to highjack this thread... Means the fuel gauge will be junk. I'm replacing the 4th sender on a boxer now, and the gauges on my other Beamies are none too accurate.
Looks like the same cluster as the R1200R, but with the fuel and engine temp covered.
the clocks are fine really, nice and well laid out, they just stick out a touch too far.

They'll look very smart behind a front fairing . . .

Fuel and engine temp aren't displayed?

There is silver plastic covering where they would be on a R1200R cluster, and the rest of it looks the same as the R1200R. Which, I think is dumb. :(

now thats some beady eyes right there! How the **** you spot that?
I have a R1200R so I just noticed what was different. I love the R1200R and am looking forward to the Nine T, but will miss the fuel gauge at least.
Being a newbie, with modern BMW bikes, (oldie with old ones), and having the cars since 1969, one must remember, everything we are seeing is pre-production. I am sure there will be some changes, maybe significant ones, on production models.
admittedly, the "clock" look like and AFTERTHOUGHT to me
BMW really "cheaped out" on THIS aspect of the bike.... and, there will be no way to get any AFTERMARKET item to "fix" this problem, IMHO

I don't mean to imply that the clocks are cheap but that they could've put a couple of their junior engineers on developing something more retro looking that would still be cool and accurate and worthy of being on this bike
