I love mine !!! don't waste your time fitting DB, it makes very little difference in sound.
K-SPEED Diablo pipes installation
Hi guys,
just got them pipes in yesterday and fitted myself.
The installation is relatively easy, only thing to watch out for would be the gearbox hanger bolts, they are relatively harder to get to and have a torque spec of 8NM.
The db killers, which K-SPEED was reluctant to provide and I paid separate for, are not a perfect fit to the pipe unfortunately. One of them is very close to fitting in probably will need a hammering, the other’s more of an oval shape which doesn’t go in. I have emailed K-SPEED about that and waiting on solutions.
The sound without mufflers are very similar to a Harley, very meaty and throaty and definitely will attract unwanted attention on road. I like the sound but don’t want to get defected.
