Thanks Y'all ... appreciate the supportive comments - means a lot from this bunch whom I hold in high regard. Y'all have already demonstrated your own great taste, knowledge, and solid craftsmanship on your own rides. And you all know this bike inside and out. Again, thanks a bunch for the kind replies.

This has been a work in progress for some time and it took some $$$ and time to get the rear hugger and front fairing matched set in this color. As noted above, it did come from Wunderlich USA. That said, I need to get more time on the road to see about noise levels (if I installed it all right and torqued it up properly) and if it was truly worth it. However, I do love the look overall now, and am looking forward to not having so much wind coming at me on longer rides at a minimum.

The other items were BMW (mostly) sourced, trying to keep a "factory" look overall. It's a long list - will post it all at some point in case others are curious. I have a couple more mods planned, but will work on those over the summer. Personally, I like the relocated front indicators in the Rizoma's, I think it cleans up the radiator area, and I believe will aide visibility for indicators while on the road. I will say the BMW Option 719 bits are clean, well made, and while pricey do just add that 'Je ne said quoi' element to the look. I thought it appropriate on a retro look, and they all pop against the blue color. Looks great in person and in the sunlight.

Thanks again Y'all - I appreciate you.

Cheers.

Very tastefully done! The paintscheme on rear fender/cowl looks perfect compared to the OEM stuff.

I bought my /5 rear fender through Pier City Custom, much less expensive(inluding shipping) than through Wunderlich USA. At the time , Wunderlich USA didn't have any on stock and didn't know when they would get them in.
