Hello fellow 9T friends !

Found this Forum, never really left it and sucked in all the info here.
Then I had to hurry to my friendly BMW Dealer (Hap's BMW in Sarasota) and put down a deposit. Yesterday I discovered I am getting the first bike, the boat docked on 2/25 in New Jersey (Rio Madeira) and hopefully I am riding middle of March.
Being on motorcycles all my life (my first bike was an R 25 for 50 German Marks in 1966 and 15 yrs old), by the way, I am German living in FL since 1990. Had a few BMW's like a new '02 R 1150 GS, traded that bike for a new HP2 Megamoto, new K 1200 S, new Big Dog Chopper K 9, a few p/o Harley's, R 1150 R, R 1150 RS and R 1200 C.
I am pretty excited about the R 9T and looking forward hopefully to meet also of bunch of you guys.

What brought you to Florida from Germany? Retirement? My grandpa retired in Sarasota.

Love riding around all year. Came from Germany in 1990 (few yrs. Orlando, 15 years Palm Beach and since 2 yrs. in Sarasota) and.... not for retirement, still working. My friends in Germany always say, don't call it work - Florida is a year around vacation .... I disagree !

Alex, I certainly will stop by some time.
