New member; really appreciate the fact that this forum exists, and I am particularly grateful to those who started it and moderate it. I’m 66. Been riding 50+ years. Have owned many bikes of all makes. I seem to always default to twins, and BMW in particular. Currently have 4 bikes, all twins, two are BMW’s. I like to turn my own wrenches, so love the technical forum for tips. Have a 2018 R nineT, new, old stock/left over. Took delivery 23 December. (Merry Christmas to me) Been scrubbing in the new tires. We are fortunate to be able to ride year round here. Getting ready to do the first 600 mile service.
