Hi everyone, not currently an owner but seriously looking for an R Nine T model. Based in the north of Scotland not so easy to find!
Currently a Ducati Multistrada owner but miss the cafe racer / retro style bike. Not planning to do touring, more day trips so reckon the BMW would suit me.
Looking at the standard model rather than the Pure. Looking forward to interacting more once I find my ideal bike!

Welcome to the forum from Oban! Up here over the weekend so possibly not that far from you, mate! :)
Enjoy your weekend! I'm east of Inverness so still over 100 miles away.

Still searching for a bike, and I realise I am hindered by my location here in the north of Scotland. One dealer nearby has a Pure for sale. Out of interest what would I be missing if I had the Pure model? Ideally I wanted heated grips which this bike does not have. Can they be retrofitted?
Yes could get all 4 seasons in one day. Just make sure you have your accommodation booked as even in April Skye can be very busy. You should avoid the midges! Try to head up the west coast of the mainland - some great roads for a car or bike.
