I appreciate this thread and the images very much.
Thank you.
We've spent a lot of time talking about tidying up that tail.
I know that safety is my primary concern but there has to be some kind of solution because that plastic monstrosity protruding from under the seat might be the largest of any bike I have ever seen.
This is certainly one of the things I will safely customize on my bike.
I hope to find a way to increase visibility and conspicuity at the same time while doing so.
Again, thank you so much for this thread.

I can't see the German designers settling for a bike that won't be comfortable for a six footer. After all, that must be the average height over there in Germany.
I am 6'2" and am confident I will fit well on the NineT.
By the way, my local registered BMW dealer is only getting two 9T's in March, with an option of more in August. I have my name on one. One left in my area for the Spring.

Someone here said we had already enough pics of the Nine T.
For me, those pics are showing detailed views that are really useful.
Please, visitors of any kind, post your pics you have, even if you think we've seen them yet.
Try to take from different angles if you have that possibility.

Why do some of the pictures show a silver cover on the rear part of the seat and other do not. I prefer it without the add-on, and I would get rid of the fender.

This is a great picture. Shows the spokes and exhaust of the nineT really nicely.

THanks!

because the subframe is modular. either you can have a seat for 2 up all the time, a cowl to cover/only single seat, or no cowl single seat for a bobber style look...

yes, I do like this exhaust setup but I'm still having trouble believing that my left inner thigh won't have third-degree burns after a 100 mile ride

Greg the nearest thing to get near the exhaust will be your boot heal unless you have amazingly saggy inner thighs :D:D

Given time there will be stacks of options available but not straight away ,once the bikes out there then you'll be spoilt for choice ,as the world now knows its a bike readily changeable to customize ;):D

well, I suppose my thighs DO sag more than they should at the age of 51...:D
I guess I'm just not looking at this picture correctly and I look forward to sitting on the bike with the exhaust mounted in this configuration because it is by far the one that appeals to me the most, personally

I did love your "ugly" comment
which is the one you like the best again?
or, have you found something else you like better?
