Whats the opinion from the Forum members here on the tank/knee pads? Do you think they are functional? Once they are stuck on, I imagine they would harm the paint if taken off. On the other hand, do they protect the paint on the tank? I see them on some of the custom bikes, and I have mixed opinions about this. Personally, I want to keep mine as clean and simple as possible, but wonder about this one option.
No pads for me.
I don't ride squeezing the tank with my legs anyway.
I think that part of the tank is clear coated? Or maybe it's just brushed aluminum without any coating, but I'm a no go on the pads.

I don't find them unattractive, just not for me.

Yes, the propaganda says its clear coated brushed aluminum.
Definitely clear coated.
Somethings to consider when replacing parts.
If you were to go to the parts dept and order a Nine T in parts it would cost $105,000
Custom parts are at least double the cost of stock parts but they are only marginally better.

My guess is that the taxes will be added on after :(
Elsewhere,
Do we have other news about the little fairing that is on the board? It's strange that it's not mentioned anywhere...
heres that pic with the levels corrected a bit so you can see the items better.

Oh..., that one slipped my attention...

thx!
the left side of the wall is NOT for the nineT, it's for the S 1000 R which was standing next to the nineT as the Milan motorshow, where this pic was taken.

NineTJoe -

Do you have any idea how to get to the two screws at the top of the stock Engine Belt Housing Cover in order to remove it and replace with Carbon Fiber - HP Engine Belt Housing Cover?

I would sincerely appreciate any help and advice you might be willing to offer.

Thanks very much.

Regards,
Cas
