Hi everyone,
Just a few words to introduce myself.
After a 10 years long story with my Aprilia SL 1000, which stays at date my favorite bike, especially due to its engine, I've about to change. And guess what, the next one may be a Nine T.
Everything started last year when I decided to have a look at what can be my next bike. My checklist wasn't long: a cafe racer or old looking bike, with a powerful enough engine to keep in line with the Aprilia, a twin cylinders if possible, real powerful brakes, because I'm used to Brembo power, a good setof fork and rear dumper, and a nice look...
With this checklist, I was able to find anything on the market, except some customized bikes, coming with a too high price for me
Then arrived the RSD prototype, and, tada... it was the bike I was dreaming about: race DNA in a cafe racer body.
A few months later, the R Nine T was presented, and, even if less extreme than the prototype, it has the ability to be easily customized... so, this was my choice...
Two days ago, I've visited a BMW store... and discovered the beast, not exposed to the public, due to the 15th march launching date in the French market... And I wasn't strong enough to resist... the next bike they are supposed to receive, coming in April, will be mine... My deposit is done !
Here I go!
To be honest, I will still own an Aprilia SL 1000, my second one, which is dedicated to the track, and is more like a prototype than a genuine model
