... with just a little help from a 5" grinder and some elbow grease, create a hump from under AUD $70! And still stuff leftover for perhaps an aileron or fender-extender (front), even a streamlined tail for the helmet - to break some speed records in rural settings

re the 2nd picture, maybe one of the forum members who's already got his hands on the OEM hump, maybe you could be so kind and post the measurements for us? Nothing new BMW has arrived on our shores yet. My dealer indicates that my bike hasn't been built yet - since it's only then that they will be advised of a serial number, etc ... bla bla bla
(does anyone else get the feeling too, that BMW's bikes sell themselves in SPITE of their sales staff? BMW riders must the only ones who read up on stuff, walk in the shop and know what they want ... the sales guys don't need to push any buttons ... I'm hooked ... it's so unfair ... but it irks me nonetheless ...
