hey man welcome aboard. Its not going to be early first quarter, were talking January then. From what I've read (NineTJoe posted a thread about it) dealers are going to start seeing NineTs early to mid march, so end of 1Q. His info came straight from the horses mouth...

I will be waiting about the same amount of time as I did for my 2014 GS. I understand the bikes will arrive at dealers in the United States the first week of March. I realize that a lot can happen between now and then to change that. I believe if demand for this bike is high, maybe even higher than BMW originally anticipated. While this is a great thing, it might mean a bit more delay in receiving bikes. I have my deposit in the number two slot at my dealership even though I called them only two days after the bike was announced.

Called my dealer, made a deposit. :D Pending 1stQ 2014 delivery.
5 months to sell her Harley and we'll have 2 Beemers in the house ;)
Good luck on your sale! I would suggest selling her early spring to get the most out of it and plus the beginning of riding season has people on the hunt for bikes.

Which other beemer do you have to go along with the house? :)

#1 on the list at Bob's BMW here in Jessup Maryland. Sold my 1993 HD FXR about a month ago (to a former leader of Seal Team Four), and now ride my 2002 R1200C. Ride 12 months of the year...Gerbings. Gerbings rock...I've ridden when it's in the teens.

Some people are just born lucky :D
we have a similar situation in Florida. Living in Arizona does give you a 12 month figure riding season but there are many, many months when it is much too hot to be outside in the daylight on any motorcycle... it is not uncommon to have a heat index over 120 in the summer and there is no way to ride safely that. So Florida and Arizona might have 12 month riding seasons in theory but not in practicality
