There likely should be an expansion of the thread, 'The Well-Dressed Nine T Rider' as the bike has a supposedly retro look, tho' many outside of BMW may not obviously see that. And while many BMW cycle riders are adherents of ATGATT (for the less informed, ATGATT stands for ALL THE GEAR ALL THE TIME) this ATGATT, almost a religion to most, begs the question, do I wear the standard protective gear, are there retro outfits that meet ATGATT perceived safety requriements, OR, screw ATGATT, I'm gonna don a leather helmet, goggles, a leather jacket, silk white scarf, and hit the road on my retro new bike?
And where helmets are optional, perhaps the Marlon Brando 'Wild One' cap?
Then again, I know of Floridians (confession is good for the soul) who accept the risk of non-ATGATT wear and don tennis shoes, shorts, a polo shirt, and a GASP open-faced helmet. Should these people be whipped by the dresswear police for looking like a dork on the beloved 9T?
Comments appreciated. Not a troll, but trying to keep some interest going as we painfully await any word on the bike's availability.
Hey, it's been raining for days in FL and I'm bored
Almost feels like the USA's Pacific Northwest.
