Replacement Aftermarket Mirrors

I don't know what you think about those mirrors, but I don't like them at all.

Changing them for a pair of Rizoma bar end mirrors was my first solution, but there are some more.

The best looking classic mirrors with adaptor for the particular BMW fitting, is the LSL Clubman mirror:

LSL-Motorradtechnik

In bar end mirrors, LSL has also a solution:

edit: sorry, i can't copy the direct link.

great thread
mirrors will be one thing that needs to be changed
there will be many options
all my friends "bedazzle" their ducatis with RIZOMA...
now WE can, too

glad about that, for some reason
their products are the EPITOME of FORM OVER FUNCTION
and i usually DON'T go for that
I have the oberon setup on my R80 (have a look at the pic in my introduction)
EXTREMELY well made kit I can't praise enough and will be my preferred option for the NineT also.

The LSL headlight clamps are also on the R80 and again are well made, VERY Expensive though
Will mirrors be one of the first mods you guys make or what?
From how I see it the OEM mirrors sit too high for my liking, something mount at bar level or just inches away from the bar will be more to my liking.

I just grabbed a few of the pics from those links.

These look like nice mirrors for the nineT. I like the first picture I posted here. It does a great job of combining modern and retro elements.

more great options above
thanks for posting them
When it comes to mirrors the options are limitless

In general the stock mirrors on most motorcycles arent the sleekest.

GOod thing we have options :)

I could not agree more.
somehow, however, the stock mirrors on our bikes to come might be more out of place than any I've recently seen.

I've seen the last Rizoma's (2 posts above) on a R1200R. Don't like it at all, too large, too big.
i have a love-hate relationship with RIZOMA....
great stuff
FORM OVER FUNCTION way too often for MY taste
and OVER-priced to a fault, IMHO
but...
i will "entertain" the possibility of putting some of what they have to offer on my R nineT
The Rizoma stuff i'm having on my R1200R is so nicely designed with a high quality finish. I had a lot of other stuff on previous bikes, but none was equal to Rizoma.
OK, they're expensive, but I don't regret.
i'm sure i won't regret it, either... but i never do when it comes to FARKLING my bikes
... as you and i have discussed at length

Most definitely!

Now we all need to get our 9T's and mod them to our liking :D

too bad that will be a painful wait.
