To avoid contacting RSD as I'm sure he's been bombarded with calls/emails, has anyone got positive feedback from them on what he'll be offering for mods on the NineT?? I was at the shop in October where they commented they are working on things whether it be under the RSD name or under BMW as this was being discussed; however, I haven't seen anything besides the bike they have with the custom seat. Given there involvement since the beginning I would imagine he's got something up his sleeve...

I'm really hoping for available mods like the concept bike (fairing, exhaust, wheels, handlebars, etc.). I guess time will tell. For those that are in the area outside Long Beach make sure you stop by his shop and report back, but also well worth the trip as it's an impressive shop with a nice store up front.

I'd actually really like to see at least the fairing and the flat pan seat. Wheels are whatever IMO, anyone know what pipes the concept wears, or are they custom as well?

I received the following response from Roland Sands recently when asked if they would be making the mods (fairing, exhaust handlebars, exhaust, etc...) on the Concept 90 available to the public:

"Sorry, but these were one-off pieces (fairing & handlebars) we did for specifically for the Concept 90. We are working towards offering some of the products for the RnineT (potentially including wheels), but do not have production products at this time."

Very disappointing as I think they are missing a big market for this where they have already done the R&D work. Not to mention it was the Concept 90 that I fell in love with which made me put down a deposit last summer.

They made this bike for BMW. Are you sure they have the rights to produce parts of it for commercial use ?
They can certainly make altered versions; but for such a small market, of which only a small percentage of people will modify the machines, don't expect to see a ton of accessories unless they fit several BMW's.
