First ride home after picking up my Scrambler I knew I had to do something about the front mud guard and the water jet grit blasting on the oil cooler. Couldn't really find an off-the-shelf neat and simple longer replacement, surprisingly. Then I remembered the the neat and simple one that was on my '78 R100RS... found one on EBay for £20, bought a neat after market CNC machined bracket, with underneath fittings, and it seems to work and look OK. Just needs painting, of course. Very rainy muddy ride home last night, my back and head and bike covered in mud... rear mud guard next... got a plain steel 8" wide blank coming. :)

I like the idea of a longer fender and IMO it looks okay as well. I'm just concerned it will pack completely with mud if one were to get into any and make things difficult clearing it back out.

Think it’ll blend better with the right colour. It’s also about making an improvement that’s close to stealth.

wow!!! Well done!!!. I like it. Do you know wich one will fit properly in Ninet Pure? Scrambler is 19" front wheel so this mudguard won`t fit on 17" Pure front wheel. Another model available?

My solution to avoid some debris and dirty was to extend belly skid plate. After some attempts I got it. Nowdays working properly. Here you can see.

Good point... there isn't a huge amount of clearance. I'll see if mud builds up, lots of farm mud on the roads around here...

Thanks....I like your plate idea, I'll have to think about that. I assume a 19" wheel mud guard would work, just 1" more clearance. Might look odd, might look good....? Fork mounting bosses are the same I think for the Pure.

Unitgarage sells a set to lift the fender, which is just four spacers and longer bolts. These fit underneath the fender and bolts right up.

You can make these your self easily as well.

All painted now... just need some rain to test the rear mud guard.
