Wow. That is amazing. I wonder how many dealers are in the UK?
I also wonder how many bikes We're talking about, and how long to the next wave?
I counted between 38 to 40 dealers on a map search.

http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk/find-a-dealer/

lets say 1 bike or 2 per dealer, average : 60 bikes apx?

Hard to believe, Belgium's first lot = 70 ( 20 dealers )
I wonder what the factory output is per day?
Any guesses?
I managed to secure mine ok for June. Order placed Dec 2. You can place a deposit for 2015 but nothing definite as to whether there will be production.
33 UK dealers with a total 2014 allocation of 330 9Ts less 33 show/ demo bikes ;):D

So 22 dealerships or BMW supply shops but only your Australian BMW computer will tell you your allocation ,but cant see it being more than 40-50 units ;):D
Today I hear that all UK allocation of the nineT is sold out!
My supply dealer hasn't sold out  neither has the sister dealership,so many people have shown an interest but haven't put a deposit down or an order in as lots of potential buyers are waiting on the demo bike to arrive ;)
My 9T will arrive week 9 and then have auxiliary extras fitted at pdi centre ,then arrive @dealership for preview evening on 14th march ,then collection on 15th and then it's officially an open market for the 9T :D
I will receive my 9T:D along with the demo bike ,then all other orders will flow through from mid MAY time until they run out of this years allocation, also all new models won't be available until march 15th in the UK across the BMW range of bikes ;) it's a mass BMW release date 9T -GSA LC -RT LC- ect ect but it's all good as bike sales have gone mad ,let's hope the quality hasn't gone a miss;):D

Hey Bose
That's from the mouths of BMW UK. Apparently they have 48 customers at this stage whom have placed deposits and will be disappointed! apparently many dealers have not yet been informed of the shortfall.
Amazing. Wonder if the same thing will happen in the US. I was in touch with my dealer this weak, requesting heated grips, and was told they are not a factory option here. I seem to remember someone else in the Forum saying they were. Does anyone have any more info?

Hello LoRider
If true I feel for them :eek:,I was at my dealer today an his screen showed no probs with their 10 bike allocation ,or their sister allocation and they haven't sold out of their allocations either way confirmed orders or deposits ,but I think its a slow production line and there will be some very late deliveries in 2014 :D:D
I'm not to worried as I know I'm getting mine soon with all the other talented early birds around the globe ;):D

Safe here also Bose. My dealer has sold their allocation of 10 bikes but that's it. A pal of mine went to order last week and the dealer called BMW, hence the heads up on avaialbility:)

They are not a factory fit option but can be ordered as an auxiliary purchase /fit by your dealer at pdi before collection ,just order them with your official order ;):D

300 saleable allocation bikes won't last long for the UK that's for sure for 2014 :D

BMW said for Belgium at Motorshow Brussels last week.
All new models will be at the dealers ( for the talented early birds that is  ) as from march 15 but none can/will ride before march 22 :(
All dealers have orders from HQ to wait untill the saison opening, grand show at all dealers. In the week prior to we can do the paperwork, insurance, plate and GO NUTS :D:D:D

IT IS CONFIRMED THAT THERE WILL BE DELAY DUE TO FACTORY DELIVERIES. NOT TO WORRY FOR THE EARLY EARLY BIRDS.
