Disappointed thread. This one escapes me as not sure what the disappointed wanted? No gun at anyone's back, take it or leave it. This is a 9T forum which jokingly comprises a bunch of crazies that minimally like or love the bike. Why join if you don't. Certainly cyclists are nuts . . . we accept unacceptable risk, usually minimally comfortable compared to a car, and have to wear a lot of uncomfortable gear.

Tubes, simple. Get over it.

Minimal technology, a plus to some. Get an R12R or whatever if you want oodles of technology.

ClearwaterBMW Mod Poll, he's fine. Docs get jammed up sometimes. Also, docs human too and likely, as myself, get tired not having the bike. And yes, FL nice place to ride all year round.

Besides, lack of forum material. Milla dropping the bike might have been the best so far.

But take heart, a gazillion threads yet to come, and I can already name the thread starters. Feel free to add yours:
What did you pay for your first service?
Show us your 9T
Anyone figured out how to mount a screen?
My seat sucks, anyone have a custom seat?
How can I raise my bars?
How can I lower my pegs?

Folks, look at how much we have to look forward http://www.ninetowners.com/forum/im...etowners.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I think someone with Facebook or Twitter, should invite Mila to our forum. She did a perfect turn, shouldn't have downshifted to first when she stop, shouda clutched, coasted and braked to a smooth stop. That was obviously an instruction session, and good for her. Bet those were bmw folks teaching her. Lets invite her to the forum, and she can fill us in on the bike, and the training they are giving her.

Personally, I don't have Facebook or Twitter, and Im sure theres some guys here that are on it all day long. Invite her!

You can only expect so much from a forum about a bike that isn't actually in people's driveways yet.

I have fun just talking about whatever is going on with the nineT right now though.

How come Mila gets to ride around on the nineT before everyone else? What makes her so special?

She's a lot better looking than us, plus no one cares what we ride, everyone cares what she rides :)
