not saying you are wrong, but have you considered the r1200c speedo was off?
Speedometer accuracy
Finally got my new nine t on Saturday. LOVE it. It rides wonderfully. Am I really going as fast as the speedometer says? Doing 90 feels like doing 75 on my old r1200c. Does anyone know the likelihood that the speedo is off?
