Just wondering if anybody has looked into SS braided brake lines. I have contacted Galfer USA regarding a brake line kit for the R Nine T and the response was, "what year is your bike?" I replied with it's new and is a possibility of another BMW kit that would fit. I haven't received any response.

Does anybody have any ideas? Is the Brake (and Clutch) line layout the same on the R-N-T as any other BMW? My experience is with Ducati and Japanese bikes.

Not from what I have seen in photos. I have used Galfer's before and like the improved braking. Having said that this is not a litre race bike, but they do look great and this bike is all about the look.

All the R series bikes (probably all BMWs) have SS lines. The Galfers may be better for high performance riding or some such application but the OEM lines are very respectable kit for the other 99% of us.

they improve braking feel a little bit. not sure if they really do much for braking performance on a street bike.

I don't see a need for someone like myself who will be using it in the city to upgrade, going to keep it mostly stock
