Check out the Daedulas web sire FAQ page, it has something about it being water proof. There will be a Vimeo video link there with the circuit board being dunked, however the audio is currently not working.

My tail tidy has been on the bike for a couple of years and I've never had a problem.
I did check that one video sir, it's cool. I normally avoid riding in rain except for once once when got caught up in a unexpected rain. After that saw loads of road dirt under the pillion seat even with a stock tail tidy, so I was asking for recommendations to keep the dirt/dust off the board.

Ah, okay, fair question. I have put a couple of pieces of the super wide Gorilla tape over my board, just to keep the dirt off of it.

I just finished the installation of Tail Tidy with break only light + rear light hanger + rizoma club indicators with the mounted BMW OEM side bag.
Pictures attached. Hopefully will help some new users.

Has anybody used the Motogadget no.blaze pin indicators with this Minima tail tidy? I really love the pins but I’m not sure if they would stick out far enough not to be obscured by the LED strip. Would love some advice — thanks

Just ordered my Minima. I've read reports that improving the seal at the fastener for the seat will improve dust a debris contamination under the seat. Saw someone cut up a plastic cap from a 2 liter bottle and drill a hole in the center to use it as a "fender" or splash guard. Might help, but I suspect it's a larger issue just from the under-seat being "open air" in general.

I used the Rizoma lights Daedalus offers and I don't think I'd go any smaller or more minimal. I'd think the pin lights would be a little close to the rear light.

anyone have this or the regular sized light / tidy combined with a rear luggage rack?
Not sure what you mean by "rear luggage rack" here. I have the OEM side case mounts with the minima tail tidy and it works just fine. Photos are on the first page of this thread. I've since added LED turn signals front and rear and there's no interference with the side bags.

thanks! I saw those, looks great. By rear rack I'm referring to something like this Rizoma Rear Bag Support BMW R NineT / Scrambler / Pure / Urban GS - RevZilla or this
Luggage Carrier NineT for top case (doesn't have to be a topcase specific one, just want to have some rear rack of some sort)

I'm looking into ideas to combine a rack like that one, with a tidy but safe solution for the rear lights and turn signals. In the future I'd like to also be able to use side bars / side luggage so initially those pictures you linked to mostly show what I want, except the rear rack + high short fender beneath, like this:

Hmm, seems like you'd be going to mount the light strip to the luggage rack in that case, because if you put it under the seat the rack would block the view quite badly. You should write to the Daedalus guys and ask, they were very responsive to me and I got the idea that the light strip itself could be attached to a variety of mounts, it'd be cool to just wrap it around the back of your luggage rack.

Yes! Exactly what I'm worried about.

I wonder how crazy would it be to have something like a similar rack customized, and integrate the Daedalus tidy lights with blinkers into it.

My backup plan is considering using an Enduro tail with the rack and other lights until I figure this out :p

Sorry guys I need to start checking the forum more often! Apologies if we haven't responded to emails, we switched over to a new "ticket" based email system and we had a few emails get missed for a minute there without noticing. Looking good so far since fixing though!

That style of luggage rack might work. Hard to tell but something we've seen with some is that the rack shares the same mounts as the tidy which would make mounting a little more complicated potentially but could probably be solved with longer bolts if that is the case. I personally haven't tried something like this, just the oem bag side mounts from BMW/SW Motech.

It's hard to say if the light would be hidden depending on how low your bags hang, which is certainly something to think about! Looking at it the rack is above the tail light line but I gotta imagine it would definitely be harder to see from the perspective of a truck/taller vehicle etc

Hey there Markan, thank you for your posts! ECE stands for 'Economic Commission for Europe,' and it's relation to motorcycling has a lot to do with general guidelines and safety requirements on your bike. With helmets for example, in Europe, they must be ECE certified. If your country hasn't adopted the ECE requirements like you stated, then there is nothing to worry about! To address your concern of not using external signals, even with the attachment points still there, they don't stick out of the Minima or anything, they are simply mounting holes located near the ends of the LED strip. I don't have a photo of the Minima without the signals there right now, but I'll attach one where you can see how they mount. There are just through holes there. Your other posts mention the cost of the Minima setup, and I completely understand your point of view. While there are other companies out there that have less expensive solutions, often made with plastic and cutting corners where they can, we feel our prices are justified by our build quality. We really strive to have our products speak for themselves. I really value your input on this forum, and it's always great to hear from customers and potential customers. Thanks for your input! Hello,. I would like to order this setup for my 2021 R9T. I am confused on the order page. Can you let me know what options I need to make this work? I do need the license mount under the brake light.

Anybody got the Daedelus Minima Tail Tidy, any pictures?

I originally was going to purchase the Classicbike-Raisch but disliked the number plate bracket and it doesn't seem to come with any resistors etc:

Looked at the Motobox but that would involve all the hassle of shipping to the UK and HMRC

So begining to settle on the Daedelus Minima, as it looks neater and doesn't have the sliver strip below it.

I only intend to use this as stop/tail light

Was wondering if anybody on here opted for this and if so I'd love to see some pictures

Still undecided on indicator style and if to opt for double function option of stop/indicate
