Any idea of the engine? Could it be a modified 1200?

Believe it is same engine but would be down tuned to meet even higher emissions, can not see it being pleasure to ride with all restrictions in mind
Looks to have cruise control switch gear as well - ride by wire?

They say it's the new three stages progressive nitrous controller. There will also be a machined version of it.

Is that the larger U.S. spec tail light?
there are two bikes in the article, one seems to be US spec with the larger tail lamp and longer turn indicator stalks, the other has the Euro/ROW spec.

Hi, have you seen this news?

I am curious about those wheels! the look like tubeless spokes like Kineo.

Agreed. Like they should always have been!
If the tyres are tubeless it might give existing owners a third option to switch to tubeless as well as Kineo and Alpina. LED headlight with the BMW roundel would be a great thing to move across too.

Can’t help noticing the yellow leathers; not exactly inconspicuous if you are test riding a prototype 🤔.

I just hope they won't be as expensive as Kineo.😅

Confused, my 2018 has OEM tubeless spoked wheels.
If I stand correct, only the UGS has currently the tubeless spoked wheels.

The Urban GS and the Scrambler (19" front wheels) were both offered with cross spoked tubeless rims.

About the R Nine T, I saw some pics showing what we could imagine to be Euro 5 engine. Here, the Euro 4 cannister is missing.

Interesting. There don't appear to be any other changes vis a vis the current Pure...

The exhaust is definitely different.
I see an uncomfortably low oil level in that bike...😆
Also, the power outlet is upside down.

If it's running you'll not see much, if any oil in the window. That's why you check it when the bike is off.

Motorcycle.com speculates one different R18 and four new R9T's:

  • Exhaust of the Roadster;
  • "Different"/upside down accessory power socket;
  • No cannister/repositioned out of view cannister;
  • New valve covers in black;
  • New shock setting knob = new shock?

That's all I could spot from the pic above.
Also, the power outlet is upside down.
I think they went to a dual USB
